Missy Hicks started in the clinic in 2003. She loves coming to work every day and so does Critter. She has two senior cats at home, Peppy La Perm and Grapenut. In her spare time, Missy loves spending time outdoors and with her family.

Jill ThomasReceptionistJill has been a receptionist at our clinic since 2004. She is a Washington native. She has three children, two Miniature Pinschers (often at work with mom) two horses and one rescue cat. Outside of work she enjoys horseback riding and attending her daughter’s riding competitions. Jill is a catalogue-aholic and loves shopping for our cool pet supplies!

ShelbyReceptionist
Shelby joined the ACE team in 2017. She grew up & worked in the Tacoma area before moving to Walla Walla. Shelby has a great smile & and a contagious giggle! She has 2 cats: Leroy & Gravy. A diehard Seahawks fan, Shelby rarely misses watching or attending a game. In her time away from the clinic, Shelby enjoys traveling & spending time with her Walla Walla family.

Leigh GrayReceptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Leigh has traveled all around the world, and we are so thankful her feet landed in Walla Walla. Her many skills allow her to fill various roles throughout the clinic. Outside of the clinic, Leigh enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, going to the gym and spending time with family. Not only does Leigh speak Italian, she is also one of two sets of twins!

Jenn ElmenhurstReceptionist
Jenn is one of our newest ACE family members. Not only does she offer a calming presence, she helps our busy front office staff stay caught up. She has 2 children, Patrick & Malory, along with an Australian Shepherd, Penny, and one cat, MeeMee. Jenn has a great love for the outdoors and enjoys gardening, camping and hunting. She especially enjoys time spent with family.

Sheila FergussonPayroll Manager
Sheila has been with our clinic since 1998. She is a California native.
Several years were spent at the Shasta Natural Science Association/Carter House Science Museum, where she started a wildlife rehabilitation program. Sheila has two children, one cat, and one granddog. Sheila enjoys reading, movies, games, photography, family and friends. She can always be counted on to bring the potato chips to the potluck because she is culinarily challenged!
Graduated from the University of California at Davis with a B.A. in Zoology and has worked with animals for 25 years.
